Apex ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Apex prediction market trading platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address (required for signup)
  • Display name (optional)
  • Authentication credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext)

  • Paper trading activity, positions, and trade history
  • Strategy configurations and backtesting parameters
  • Exchange API keys (encrypted at rest, never logged)
  • Portfolio balances and performance metrics

    • Usage Data

  • Pages visited and features used
  • AI chat messages and prompts (used to improve responses, not shared)
  • Device type, browser, IP address
  • Session duration and interaction patterns

    • Payment Information

  • Subscription tier and billing cycle
  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number

    • How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Execute trades, display market data, run AI analysis, manage your portfolio
  • Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs
  • Communication: Send critical account emails (password resets, billing receipts, security alerts)
  • Security: Detect fraud, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits

    • Information Sharing

    We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

  • Stripe: Payment processing (email, subscription data)
  • Supabase: Database hosting (account data, encrypted at rest)
  • Exchange APIs: Your API keys are sent to exchanges you connect (Polymarket, Kalshi) to execute trades on your behalf
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or legal process

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest
  • Exchange API keys are encrypted before storage
  • JWT tokens expire after 24 hours
  • Rate limiting prevents brute-force attacks
  • We perform regular security audits

    • Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active
  • After account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days
  • Anonymized trading analytics may be retained for platform improvement
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years per tax requirements

    You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (via Account settings)
  • Export your trading data (CSV export available)
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

    Apex is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
